The isxysnth plugin offers spectral cross-synthesis and morphing capabilities, providing a sophisticated approach to signal manipulation. It accepts two input signals, each of which is decomposed into its noise and tonal components, enabling detailed cross-morphing between these elements. The freeze control introduces a spectral blurring effect for both inputs, enhancing textural complexity. Additionally, the integration of two three-second delay lines allows for temporal selection and contributes to a freeze-like effect.

Users can process stereo sources by applying separate left and right channels or utilize the plugin as a multi-input AUv3, accommodating two stereo inputs. Currently, the standalone mode is limited to mono processing, involving the left and right channels as separate inputs.

The interface features three XY controls that facilitate adjustment of the balance between tone and noise components, control over the freeze effect, and morphing setup. Both inputs are equipped with three-second delay lines, with a dedicated freeze button ("*") to toggle recording off. Gesture recording is available for all primary controls—three XY pads and two sliders—allowing users to capture movements for performance or automation via a toggle button marked with ">".
